We recently welcomed this BMW into the workshop for a scheduled service. Upon booking, the owner noted the vehicle maintained a full service history with annual maintenance.
Following the BMW service schedule for this specific mileage, an air filter replacement was required. However, upon inspection, the condition of the filter (pictured) told a different story. While the vehicle’s iDrive history confirmed annual ‘servicing’ at a previous garage, it became clear that only the engine oil had been replaced, neglecting critical filters and inspection items.


To rectify this, we performed a comprehensive Full Service, which included:
Engine oil and oil filter replacement
Fuel filter and air filter replacement
Pollen (microfilter) replacement


Using OE (Original Equipment) quality parts to ensure the vehicle continues to perform to factory standards. To maintain the car’s provenance, we updated the BMW online service history database, ensuring the records are visible both in the iDrive and to any BMW main dealer.


Finally, we conducted a full vehicle multi-point health check in line with manufacturer standards, covering safety systems, braking components, and drivetrain integrity to give the owner complete peace of mind.
